Any movement on the body is resulted by cooperation of energy system, muscular and Neuromuscular function. So if you need to improve the muscles, you have to improve all aspect of above noted. Right now our concern is in muscular system. any exercise and movement again an load may enhance muscle ability. every muscle has the some functions, include the main and casual.
So to start we have to find main function of the muscle. for example in front of the your arm, there is a biceps muscle that make the flexion on the elbow joint, and also some rotation movement in elbow is caused by this muscle.
Now to improve the main action of the this muscle which is flexion in elbow, we have to put the extra load as well as dumbbell on our hands and we tray to make repetition for flexion in this load.
